The view from the Market-Frankford El train shows off the best of Blue Hour, when the sun is still well below the horizon but some light is just peeking through. The light visible is highly saturated, and very dusty in quality, not sharp like midday. It's one of my favorite times of day to photograph.
The catch is you have to get up early. It's currently 6:59am and I'm on my way to the Schuylkill River in the hopes of taking some early morning shots of rowers preparing for this weekend's Head of the Schuylkill regatta. But the first race is at 8 am, right when Golden Hour will light up the course.
